AI Imaging & Deepfake Detection Engineer (m/f/d)

You will work on systems that detect manipulated image and video content and develop methods to automatically identify deepfakes, synthetic media, and visual inconsistencies.
This role combines technical expertise, photographic fundamentals, and modern AI technologies to build intelligent media analysis systems.
This position is fully remote and open worldwide.
Your Responsibilities- Develop systems for detecting deepfakes and manipulated media
- Analyze visual patterns, inconsistencies, and synthetic artifacts
- Use computer vision and AI models for media analysis
- Build verification and authenticity mechanisms for images and videos
- Investigate visual indicators such as lighting, shadows, reflections, perspectives, and anatomical inconsistencies
- Build datasets, evaluation pipelines, and testing procedures
- Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to integrate detection systems
- Research and evaluate new approaches in AI-powered media forensics
- Experience in computer vision, AI, or image analysis
- Understanding of photographic and visual fundamentals
- Experience with machine learning or deep learning
- Knowledge of Python and AI/CV frameworks
- Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
- Interest in media authenticity, detection systems, and visual analysis
