About the Role

We are looking for a Conversion Tracking Specialist focused on Google Tag Manager, GA4, and consent management.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining clean tracking setups that are both technically accurate and compliant with privacy regulations. Your goal is to ensure reliable data collection while meeting GDPR and CCPA requirements.

This position is remote within Germany.

Your Responsibilities
  • Implement conversion tracking setups (leads, events, funnels)
  • Set up and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Configure and optimize Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Integrate and manage consent management platforms (CMPs)
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and privacy regulations
  • Track customer journeys and conversion funnels
  • Debug and validate tracking data
  • Collaborate with developers and marketing teams
  • Document tracking setups and concepts
Your Profile
  • Experience in tracking, analytics, or martech
  • Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4
  • Experience with consent management platforms (e.g., Cookiebot, Usercentrics)
  • Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and privacy requirements
  • Experience with event tracking, data layers, and tagging structures
  • Analytical and structured mindset
Nice to Have
  • Experience with server-side tracking
  • Experience with Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking
  • Experience with Microsoft Advertising tracking
  • Experience with e-commerce or lead tracking
  • Experience with A/B testing or CRO
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge
